This is a favorite of Florence natives. (As someone not from Florence, I will add a disclaimer that the bar is definitely lower for good food and good service here). However, Townhouse is one of the better ones. I wouldn't say it out performs good restaurants in other towns or cities, but it's definitely one of the best here. If you're going, the best bet is to get the Greek grilled chicken in regular or salad form. I've had both, and they are very good. Everything else on the menu seems to be hit or miss. Also, don't expect the cheapest prices, it's a little more than you might feel like it should be. The way they take your order is a little gruff which can be off putting on your first visit, but I think it's just part of their schtick. Anyway, if you find yourself stuck in Florence like me and are tired of chain restaurants, definitely give this place a try.

I opted for the Greek Chicken Salad and got a ginormous salad. Yuge, even. Not much lettuce here at all, it was tomatoes and cucumbers and grilled chicken and green peppers and olives and boiled egg and a ton of feta cheese. I couldn't finish this monster salad. Service was okay, the interior of the restaurant was okay. But you're not coming here for the ambiance, you're coming here for the Americanized Greek-style food. And if that's what you're looking for? You'll be very pleased.
This is some good food anytime I went the food never disappoints me. The staff and atmosphere is friendly. I would recommend highly. The food is very much appreciated.
